 Namekagon River Canoe Trip. Cost: $35.00 - Fee includes canoe rental with paddles and life vests, shuttle from pick-up point, two (2) nights camping, food, gas money for transportation. Itinerary:

17-Jun-2005; Leave Faith United Methodist at 5:00PM 18-June-2005; To Be Determined 19-Jun-2005; Return by 1:30PM

Individual travel items needed (Pack a bag for the drive up and the return trip. This bag will stay in the vehicles and wil not be taken to the fishing camp):

  • Clean clothes for the return trip
  • Electronic Gear for travel

Individual personal items needed (Stuff that may be needed though-out the trip, keep this stuff on your person):

  • Health Forms / Permission slips signed by parents
  • Rain Gear / Bug Spray / Sunglasses / Hat
  • Camera / Film
  • Medications
  • G P S

Individual camping items needed (Stuff needed at the camp but not needed during travel):

  • Sleeping Bag (Small Pillow) with Cot or Mattress
  • Ivory Soap and Wash Cloth
  • Fishing Gear (Pole, Tackle, Knife, , Stringers, Mouth Openers, Landing Nets, Sponges, Worm Boxes (Empty Country Time Lemonade Container), Fillet Knife, Stone, Etc…, Use 8 pound line and 3/8 ounce lead-heads. Make small kit to take in the canoe)

Troop Items Needed:

  • Canoes - six (6) square stern with motors / four (4) regular (Spare props and shear pins / Gas cans and hoses / Gas and Outboard Oil (Mix as needed, use extra in vehicles on the way back) / Funnel / Measuring Cup / Tow Ropes) / Shoulder Pads / Paddles.
  • Trailers / Cook Boxes (with Dish Towel / Dish Cloth) / Water Jugs
  • Cook Stoves / Gas Lines / Gas Trees and Propane / Food / Coolers / Water
  • Sleeping Tents / Cook Tents - with mosquito netting / Tarps / Duct Tape
  • Hand Tools with wrenches / Chain Saw/ Hand Saw / Hatchet / Axe / Can of Nails / Plywood to make tables
  • First Aid Kit / Bee Sting Medications (Epie Pen) / Shovels
  • Safe Swim markers, chain and rope / Tongue Depressors for Buddy System.
  • File Float Plan, File Tour Permit
